Sorry, I’m gonna have to call you on this one…you’re late. I’ve been looking for rings since at least 21 ie the moment I got into the bar scene,mingling in with the not just 21/22 year old college kid crowd. And even at that age I was finding a few rings. And now, I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to see more and more engagements of my college friends. A lot of relationships that started in college have had a few years in the “real world” and are taking the step to marry. I know our generation has this thing with waiting until later to get married, but I think we’re at the start of that age range where it’s a possibility. To be honest, it’s pretty much standard fare for me to look whenever I meet someone new these days. I don’t know New York enough to tell you how it is in your city, but I wouldn’t think it so different from everywhere else that you shouldn’t at least be checking. That kind of stuff can get messy fast :/

I started looking in my mid-20′s and now that I’m married, it surprises me when I get hit on (not that it happens very often) because (hello!) I’m wearing a wedding ring. My husband says guys don’t look at that, but I know a lot of girls who always check.
