As soon as I told my roommate that I’m limiting my ice cream consumption to once a week (you don’t want to know how much I used to eat), she asked why I’m on a diet. I’ve said many times that I exercise and don’t diet, so that’s not what’s going on here. I was waking up with pains in my stomach and immense nausea because of all the sugar I’d had the night before, and I refuse to keep doing that to myself.

So I had a single bowl of Half Baked ice cream once last week. I had some tonight as well, so I’ve already hit my limit. As much as I love dessert, it’s not healthy to have every single day, even though it supposedly increases a woman’s fertility. I don’t need to worry about that for at least a few years, but I do have to take care of myself, so I’m hoping to turn this into a regular thing. Discipline is everything, right?
